Mel Rosenberg - scientist, inventor, writer, musician
|
Hello, my name is Mel Rosenberg. During the daytime, I'm a professor of microbiology at Tel Aviv University. In the evening, I play sax and sing jazz with my quartet, aptly named the Mel Rosenberg Quartet. You can catch us at the Cameri on Feb. 5th with singer/actress Elinor Aharon singing Chet Baker songs (for other dates, please check my website www.melrosenberg.com). My research deals mainly with bad breath and body odors. I've invented several personal products in this area, including a two-phase mouthwash (Dentyl pH) and a flavor called Breathanol (incorporated in Elite blue must chewing gum). My brand newest project is www.smellwell.com which will spread fine fragrance around the world. I also love to write, have published one children's book (Bacteria Galore by Sunday at Four) and made one children's film (The Witch and the Toothbrush). I've been invited to the KinnerNet by my friend Yossi Vardi and look forward to playing, singing, talking about smells and meeting intriguing people.
